On contradictions: on one hand you can run a node on consumer gear and be fine. On the other, if you need production-grade uptime or archival depth, plan for enterprise-ish hardware. Initially I underestimated uptime needs. After a few reseeds and downtime episodes, I accepted that redundancy matters—UPS, small backup node, or a cloud fallback.
